Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney refuse to hire a full-time nanny for their twins. Instead, the British human rights lawyer wants to be a hands-on mother herself. New reports say that Amal plans on giving birth in London and that she and George will raise their children in nearby Sonning, England at their multi-million dollar estate.
According to E! Online, both George and Amal have decided that they don’t want to hire a live-in or full-time nanny for their twins. While they’ve agreed to hire a night nurse to avoid those difficult sleepless nights, Amal wants to raise the children on her own. The only person that will be helping her is her mother, journalist Baria Alamuddin.
One source close to the situation dished, “Amal is trying not to overexert herself. She plans to be back at work around six months after giving birth, but her schedule will be greatly different than before. A lot of time spent working at home. She has a great office set up at the Sonning house.” According to the source, Amal has no intention of quitting the career she’s worked so hard for.”
Amal plans on taking a six month maternity leave. She wants her children to stay out of the spotlight during those first few crucial months. But that might not be easy. After all, these are George Clooney’s babies. Everyone is going to want to see how the Hollywood star’s children look like. Plus, there’s a good chance that Amal won’t be able to stay under the radar for very long. She’s made it no secret that she loves all the attention she gets for being George Clooney’s wife. Sooner or later the world will get to see George and Amal’s babies. Of course, when it happens it will be on George and Amal’s terms.
Amal hasn’t revealed her due date but a media outlets report that she’s expected to give birth sometime in June. Even though George has told media reporters that he’s excited about being a father, Amal has made no comments about her pregnancy.
With the couple living in England full-time, there’s a good chance that George will be spending less time in Hollywood and more time at home as a full-time dad. At least, that’s what their master plan seems to be.
