Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are still cutting the cord on their marriage but it looks like they are working together to mend some fences. New reports say that Angelina wants to repair her broken relationship with Brad. Some believe that she might even be jealous that Brad has reconnected with his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston.
Angelina pulled the plug on their marriage back in September of 2016 after an altercation on a flight between Brad and their 15-year-old son, Maddox Jolie-Pitt. Ever since the incident, Angelina has been keeping her distance from Brad, with a lot of people believing that she might be responsible for the nasty smear campaign against him in the press, too. Well, it looks like she might have had a change of heart now.
One source close to the situation told People Magazine, “This is a work in progress. He’s always been extremely positive about how Angie’s a good mother, and the goal was to resolve everything for the kids and the whole family, and they’re working toward that. He is spending more time with the kids when they are in L.A. He has even spent some time with Maddox and Pax. Things are definitely calming down.”
Plus, it wouldn’t be surprising if Angelina Jolie was upset over the reports of Brad Pitt reaching out to his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston for emotional support. The last thing Angelina would want to see is Ben and Jen photographed together. If that weren’t enough, Angelina ended up looking like the evil one in their bitter and very public divorce battle. She was hoping that the public would side with her after learning about Brad’s alleged alcohol and substance abuse problems.
Instead, it was the opposite. A lot of fans showed more sympathy towards Brad, especially since Angelina made it difficult for him to see their children during the holidays. And now the actress wants to change that by hopefully softening her image with a little damage control. Do you agree?
