Corinne Olympios has been spotted making phone calls to lawyers. It appears that both her and DeMario Jackson have been lawyering up for different reasons. Corinne Olympios claims she’s a “victim” of the show, Bachelor in Paradise. Meanwhile, DeMario Jackson is trying to fight to get his side of the story out. Corinne Olympios has been trying to maintain a low profile amid the scandal surrounding Bachelor in Paradise as new revelations surface.
The reality star was spotted walking her dog in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 15. As seen on the photos on the Daily Mail, Corinne Olympios looked quite distraught as she was photographed talking on the phone to her lawyers, which she has been doing a lot lately. The 24-year-old reality star wore a frown on her face along with a yellow T-Shirt with a pair of black sweatpants. Corinne Olympios was also barefoot during the time of the sighting. But, she kept her face covered with sunglasses.
It’s likely that Corinne Olympios was talking to her lawyer Marty Singer. He’s helped many celebrities with their cases over the years. TMZ describes her lawyer as “the go-to guy for Pit-bull lawyering” because he can “silence unwanted press and make accusations of unlawfulness disappear.” While Corinne Olympios was walking her dog, strangely enough DeMario Jackson was seen meeting with both his publicist and lawyer for lunch over in Century City.
This comes after Corinne Olympios’ previous sighting. She made her first public appearance since the sexual misconduct allegations forced Bachelor in Paradise to halt production. During that time, she was seen wearing a blue T-shirt tied around her waist. Olympios paired it with blue Fila sweatpants and black-and-white checkered slip-on sneakers. She was seen making a call while walking her dog, according to a previous report via the Daily Mail. Olympios’ face appeared puffy and swollen, as if she’s been crying.
It was Corinne Olympios’ first sighting since her drunken on-camera hookup with DeMario Jackson. Their messy sexual interaction that took place in a swimming pool is what reportedly caused the show’s suspension. Several witnesses close to the show claimed that Olympios was “too drunk to consent” and was even “in and out of consciousness” while she was with Jackson.
In addition, one of the show’s producers filed a “workplace misconduct” after witnessing the hookup between Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson. That producer felt that she was “too drunk to consent” to the sexual interaction that went down between them. That caused Warner Bros. to halt production and send Jackson and Olympios home. Two days later, the rest of the cast was sent home as well.
Last week, Corinne Olympios released a statement claiming that she’s a “victim” and has spent “the last week trying to make sense of what happened.” She can’t recount what happened, but she’s trying to process it. Olympios has also been seeking therapy to deal with both the mental and physical trauma from the incident.
