Beyonce told the world that she is pregnant, but apparently she forgot to tell some of her family members her big news before sharing it with the public. Beyonce’s father, Matthew Knowles, admits he was shocked to hear that his daughter is carrying twins from close friends and associates and not from Beyonce herself. Beyonce shared a photo of her bare pregnancy bump on her social media accounts this past week.
Matthew is currently a professor at Texas Southern University. Many reports indicate that he and Beyonce have been estranged from many years now after it was revealed that Matthew cheated on his wife Tina Knowles with his mistress in 2010. Matthew and his ex, Alexandra Wright, even had a child named Nixon Knowles in 2010.
Although it’s been several years since Matthew’s cheating scandal, it looks like Beyonce is still having a hard time forgiving him. In fact, Matthew told Inside Edition, “I was shocked. Let me tell you what happened. I got a first text, and I was like, ‘Why is this person saying congratulations?’ Then I get a second text from one of my students at Texas Southern, and I was like, ‘What are you talking about?’ He was like, ‘Go to the web.’ I didn’t know myself.”
So does this mean that Matthew Knowles is the new Jon Voight? That might be the case. The Hollywood actor was estranged from his own daughter, Angelina Jolie, for several years. Jon wasn’t even allowed access to any of Angelina’s kids. And now that Beyonce is about to become a mother of three, there’s a good chance that Matthew might lose out on getting to know his grandchildren as well.

Of course, only Bey knows what the real truth is behind her relationship with her father. No one knows if she’s carrying two boys, two girls, or one of each.
