Brad Pitt Tell-All Interview: Reveals Details of Drinking and Angelina Jolie Divorce

Brad Pitt has given his first tell-all interview since his divorce from Angelina Jolie was announced back in September. The Hollywood actor has revealed details about his drinking while also opening up about his therapy sessions and personal character flaws.

In a new interview with GQ Magazine, the ‘Allied’ star admits that he’s quit drinking and that he’s trying to make all of his wrongs into rights. Brad said that his divorce has been just as hard on his six children as it has been on him. He said that both he and Angelina Jolie are doing their best to work things out, but it hasn’t been easy. He also said that most of his personal issues – including his alleged alcohol and substance abuse – have been “self-inflicted,” although he doesn’t detail why.

Brad told the publication, “I was boozing too much. It’s just become a problem. And I’m really happy it’s been half a year now, which is bittersweet, but I’ve got my feelings in my fingertips again. Truthfully I could drink a Russian under the table with his own vodka. I was a professional. I was good.”

Many fans have noticed that Brad’s appearance has changed since his split with Angelina and that he’s lost a noticeable amount of weight. Some have even said that he looks less bloated and healthier, too.

Of course, it hasn’t been an easy six months for Brad Pitt. He’s been subjected to a nasty smear campaign following Angelina’s divorce announcement. The actor allegedly got into an altercation with his 15-year-old son Maddox Jolie-Pitt during a flight from Paris to Minneapolis last September.

If that weren’t enough, he also hasn’t seen his kids very much in the last several months. Brad even admitted that he felt so awful living in his Hollywood Hills home without his kids that he ended up sleeping on a friend’s floor in a Santa Monica apartment for several weeks.

What’s more, Brad only mentioned Angelina Jolie’s name once, when he told the interviewer that he should see his soon-to-be ex-wife’s new film, ‘First They Killed My Father.’ Otherwise, he didn’t say anything about his current relationship with Angelina or how they plan to co-parent their six children in the future.

So far Angelina Jolie has not made any additional comments about her divorce or Brad Pitt’s tell-all interview for that matter. Don’t forget to check back with CDL for all the latest news and updates on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie right here.
