Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that several departures are looming – A Martinez is off Days of Our Lives. The NBC soap has already had some cast shakeups and more are on the way. We know that Vivian Jovanni (Ciara), Vincent Irizarry (Deimos) and Arianne Zucker (Nicole) are out. Now Soap Opera Digest is reporting that A Martinez has left as well.
Martinez dropped to recurring last year so he could pursue other projects. Now it seems he either needs additional time for those projects or Days wants rid of him. When a character is recurring, it’s often the actor’s choice to leave. Without a contract, the show doesn’t have to cut ties with anyone. They simply don’t call the actor to work.
However, it’s possible that DOOL couldn’t figure out anything else to do with Eduardo. His redemption arc has played out and it’s tough to provide a new story without a firm commitment. They may not know if Martinez will be available to shoot when he’s needed.
Whatever the case, Martinez is out and that means Eduardo is headed off canvas. Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Eduardo will be arrested during the week of April 10-14. This might connect to Eduardo’s actions during the prison break plot. He stole the van that the convicts escaped while trying to seek revenge for his family.
As a result, the captives ran amok. Clyde (James Reed), Orpheus (George DelHoyo) and Xander (Paul Telfer) all wreaked havoc on the innocent people of Salem. Eduardo told John (Drake Hogestyn) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) the truth, but perhaps this info could come out publicly.
Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Eduardo will provoke Deimos by delivering a stern warning. It’s never a good idea to threaten the nefarious Kiriakis. He always finds a way to fight back. DOOL fans can expect Deimos to trick Eduardo pretty soon. He might expose the van debacle or this could link to Eduardo’s shady business activities.
Regardless, Eduardo is going down. Days spoilers reveal that Eduardo will be carted off to jail. He might realize he needs to plead guilty and do his time. At least Deimos is sparing Eduardo’s life! He was willing to kill Abigail (Marci Miller) or Gabi, so having someone arrested is a step up.
