Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers revealed that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) would leave Salem. However, he is still on the show, at least for the time being. Could that change considering that he is appearing in a new season of OWN’s Queen Sugar?
When Eric went to prison for killing Dr. Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian,) one of Vaughan’s projects was Queen Sugar. However, the actor eventually returned to the NBC soap opera. This is what led to Eric’s early release and farmhouse stay.
On Twitter, Greg Vaughan confirmed he is going back to Queen Sugar. With Eric leaving Salem because of Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker,) what will happen to the character?
Fans shouldn’t worry too much; the actor is not appearing on the OWN series full-time. In fact, for the episode referenced in Vaughan’s tweet, he is only listed as having a guest appearance.
The actor signed on with Queen Sugar in 2016. He was cast as Calvin, Nova Bordelon’s (Rutina Wesley) longtime lover.
The fact that he is only appearing on a limited basis is good news for DOOL fans. It indicates that Eric will return to Salem. Days of Our Lives spoilers seem to indicate this as well. There is always a worry that he could take off again. However, it seems unlikely that there have been no confirmed reports of him abandoning his fans again.
Even though Eric has gone to the farmhouse, he is already receiving some visitors. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) has already gone to see him. Nicole will go searching for the former priest. Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that it happens after Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) exposes the truth.
If for some bizarre reason Nicole can bring him back to town, then somebody else will. Next, it will probably be Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves.) Remember, they have a bit of a history and Jennifer is the one who convinced Eric to stop feeling sorry for himself the first time around.
