Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) escape plan will not go as planned. In fact, it is going to be a total failure. How will they get out of Bayview now that their only option to flee has been foiled?
While Marlena was freaking out in a straitjacket, John has kept pretty cool. He managed to wrestle out of his straitjacket and instructed his “Doc” to do the same. The ISA agent has a plan on how they are going to escape Bayview. However, things won’t go as expected in more ways than one.
Details were not released on why the escape plan fails. However, it is clear that John and Marlena will feel hopeless. Hattie Adams is in Salem impersonating the psychiatrist, destroying their lives and of course, she’s worried about her patients too.
After their escape stunt fails, Hattie will order electroshock therapy, which could have disastrous results. In fact, it is teased that it will have unforeseen consequences.
Looking at history, both John and Marlena have been brainwashed and John actually lost his memory at one point. Sending high voltages of electrical impulses into his brain could lead to a whole different John Black. Could he even turn evil, while Andre turns into one of the good guys? Anything is possible.
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that “Jarlena” won’t be the only ones in a mental hospital. After Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) asks for a mental evaluation, Hattie declares him insane. He is taken to Bayview in a straitjacket.
While there, he is shocked to see John and Marlena. However, he thinks it’s just mind games. He also wonders if he really belongs there and if he will spend the rest of his days in a padded cell. Will Andre also receive electroshock therapy? There is a theory that Andre is really a brainwashed Tony. Could the controversial treatment turn him into somebody completely different?
Fans don’t need to worry too much, though. Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that help is on the way. After Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) learns some unsettling information about the fake Marlena, she will make a shocking discovery.
