Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that the masquerade ball will bring some surprises. Marlena (Deidre Hall) will hope that her presence will lure Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) out of hiding. They need to capture him if they want to clear Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) name.
After someone sneaks up behind Marlena, she’ll go missing for a few minutes. Rafe (Galen Gering), Paul (Christopher Sean), Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will all fear that Stefano may have taken her. Fortunately, Marlena will be with Austin (Austin Peck). He’ll suggest that he just wanted to pitch in.
Rafe will get discouraged as the hours go by. He’ll begin to think Stefano isn’t going to show. The whole gang will determine that it might be time to give up. That’s when the big moment will finally arrive. Stefano walk in just before the clock strikes midnight.
Everyone will take action immediately. They’ll do their best to corner Stefano and get confirmation on his identity. Days spoilers state that the group will be thrown for a loop when the lights go out. Marlena will let out a loud scream, which will only add to the pandemonium.
In the chaos of it all, Stefano will manage to make a break for it. Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Rafe and the team will go after him. They’ll realize this could be their last chance to prove Stefano is alive.
After a thrilling chase, Stefano will be forced to surrender. They’ll capture him and take him back to the police station. Days spoilers indicate that Stefano will be questioned and locked up. Rafe will feel a great sense of relief. He’ll believe Hope’s nightmare is coming to an end.
Lt. Raines (Aaron D. Spears) will still make things a little difficult for Hope, but she’ll indeed be cleared of the charges soon. However, Stefano’s story isn’t over just yet. DOOL spoilers say Stefano will mysteriously disappear from his cell. Poof! The great Stefano DiMera will simply vanish to enjoy the rest of his days wherever he pleases.
This will mark Joseph Mascolo’s final appearance on the NBC soap. Most Days of Our Lives fans would agree that this is a fitting end for his character. Stefano is seemingly invincible. The idea of him just being out there somewhere sounds perfect.
