Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lani (Sal Stowers) will battle some difficult feelings in the coming weeks. When JJ (Casey Moss) shot Theo (Kyler Pettis), it sparked a disaster that changed many lives forever. Lani will try to stand by JJ since she knows he’s in pain as well. JJ wouldn’t have fired if he’d known Theo was the one standing in front of him.
Nevertheless, Abe’s outrage will really begin to weigh on Lani. Theo’s recovery will come with complications, so that will only add to the drama. It seems the hostility will get worse before it gets better.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say playing peacemaker will grow old quickly. Lani will feel like she’s drowning in sorrow, frustration and even anger. She won’t truly be able to express those feelings around the people involved in this mess. Lani will believe she has to keep everything bottled up to protect JJ and prevent further despair for Abe.
Fortunately, there’s someone who’ll be happy to listen. Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Eli (Lamon Archey) will offer a shoulder to cry on. Lani will break down as all her emotions pour out. She’ll be glad when Eli proves to be a great pal.
However, it looks like far more than friendship could be brewing. Eli and Lani’s bond will grow much stronger as JJ wallows in his own guilt. Lani may feel distant from JJ after everything that’s happened. She’ll find herself relying on Eli again and again.
Will Lani and Eli eventually cross the line? Based on Theo’s leaked exit scenes, it appears Lani will get pregnant. That means Days could be setting up a paternity mystery. Will they force us to ask “who’s the daddy?”
If Lani sleeps with both men around the same time, she’ll be left to wonder who the father of her child is. A baby for JJ and Lani could either make things worse with Abe or start the healing process. Abe might urge Lani to raise this kid alone or put his rage aside for the sake of their family.
Still, there are also good reasons to make this baby Eli’s. Lani and Eli have plenty of fans as a pairing. DOOL has toyed with the idea of putting them together, but it never seems to pan out. They have a perfect opportunity to go for it with this storyline.
