Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, August 28, tease that some tense moments are on the way. Eli (Lamon Archey) is working hard to make sure Commissioner Raines (Aaron D. Spears) feels at ease. The idea is to convince him that he’s in the clear. Eli is hoping Raines will get comfortable enough to make a big mistake.
Since Abe (James Reynolds) was arrested as part of this plot, they’re obviously quite committed to it. Abe is just as determined to bring down the corrupt commissioner. Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) will have a chat with Abe on Monday. They’ll try to figure out what they can do to help.
It looks like Abe will deliver some instructions. DOOL spoilers say Rafe and Hope will talk to Myron (Craig Welzbacher) later this week. They’ll get confirmation that Raines partnered up with Dario (Jordi Vilasuso), but they’ll need some assistance to prove it.
By the time Friday rolls around, Rafe will learn Dario is sending him solid proof. He’ll hope that this evidence will be enough to put Raines behind bars. Of course, Eli will have a hard time keeping the charade going that long. Lani (Sal Stowers) certainly doesn’t buy that her father is a criminal.
Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Lani and JJ (Casey Moss) will try to prove Abe is innocent. Eli will do whatever he can to put the brakes on their plan, but it won’t be easy. Lani feels like her dad’s freedom is on the line and she just can’t back down. JJ will be equally dedicated to clearing Abe’s name.
Eli might make some adjustments to his scheme in hopes of keeping JJ and Lani in the dark. He’ll have to be sneaky about it if he wants to pull this off. Meanwhile, Days spoilers say Bonnie (Judi Evans) and Hattie (Deidre Hall) will resort to sneakiness as well. They’ll preserve their secret by leaving Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) to contend with Anjelica’s corpse.
