Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that trouble is brewing for Rafe (Galen Gering) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso). First, they’ll face some issues over their lack of a wedding date. Hope was reluctant to even get engaged, but she finally caved in. Now that Hope is dragging her feet on tying the knot, Rafe has another reason to be concerned.
On September 12, Rafe will express his fears to Hope. He’ll bring up their nuptials and wonder why Hope isn’t interested in planning anything. Hope might suggest that she’s not completely ready yet. She might mention all the trauma she’s been through over the past few years.
Hope faced quite an ordeal with Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) and she had to cope with Bo’s (Peter Reckell) death. Plus, Hope made the impulsive decision to shoot Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) and landed behind bars. She’s glad things have settled down and she doesn’t want to rock the boat.
Hope never thought she’d be a cop again, so being back on the force is a real thrill for her. She might tell Rafe that she wants to focus on her career and enjoy the good place they’re in. Their relationship seems easy right now and Hope has no interest in making it tougher.
Of course, DOOL fans know that a romance is bound to face some ups and downs. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rafe will try to accept that Hope loves him and wants to marry him eventually. Still, he’ll feel like her hesitation is significant. Rafe just won’t be sure Hope is truly committed to their future together.
The next wave of conflict will hit thanks to Raines’ (Aaron D. Spears) exit from Days. After Raines’ partnership with Dario (Jordi Vilasuso) is officially exposed, the Salem P.D. is going to need a new commissioner. Abe (James Reynolds) will believe there are two people who could step up and do well in this position.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Hope and Rafe will be up against each other for the job. The competition will lead to more tension for this couple. Will they be able to overcome this latest obstacle? Most DOOL buzz hints that Rafe and Hope will stick together for a while. Perhaps they’ll hang in there and find a way to make it work.
