Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, August 22, tease that we’ll see some sorrow for Joey (James Lastovic) and his loved ones. Since Joey can’t move past his guilt, he intends on confessing to Ava’s (Tamara Braun) murder. Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) understand that this is something their son has to do, but saying goodbye is going to be brutal.
As a way of making the pain more bearable, Joey’s friends and family members will gather for a farewell party. They’ll all head to the pub for Joey’s last meal as a free man. Days of Our Lives fans will see plenty of hugs, including one between Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan). It sounds like they’ll embrace each other as they try to cope with Joey’s decision.
DOOL spoilers say Theo (Kyler Pettis) will find himself feeling jealous when he sees Claire cozying up to another man. He’ll hate the idea of Claire and Tripp becoming an item. Theo may try to ignore his feelings at first, but that plan won’t last for long. By next week, Claire and Theo should start moving toward a reunion.
In the meantime, Theo will pay Abe (James Reynolds) a visit. He’ll want to know if there’s any truth to the charges against his father. Abe will insist that he’s innocent, but Theo may wonder if that’s really the case. It seems Theo and Abe will have some issues to work through.
Days spoilers say Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) will also speak to Abe about his recent arrest. She’ll find it difficult to believe that Abe is guilty, but she’s learned to examine the facts as a reporter. Jen may have trouble seeing how the Salem PD got this one wrong.
Nevertheless, Abe will explain his side of the story and he may win Jennifer over eventually. Regardless, Days spoilers hint that an interesting twist will completely change the game. Could Commissioner Raines (Aaron D. Spears) or someone else be Dario’s (Jordi Vilasuso) real partner? Look for a major shakeup in Tuesday’s episode.
Finally, Steve will reach out to Adrienne (Judi Evans) for support. At least that’s who he’ll think he’s reaching out to! Since this will actually be Bonnie (Judi Evans), their conversation could hit a few snags. We’ll give you updates as other Days of Our Lives news comes in.
