Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, August 16, tease that Eli (Lamon Archey) will deliver some shocking news. He’ll tell Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) that Abe (James Reynolds) could be Dario’s (Jordi Vilasuso) partner. They won’t buy it at first, but Eli’s evidence will be difficult to ignore.
Rafe and Hope will decide they have no choice but to arrest Abe immediately. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abe will be stunned when they confront him in the town square. He’ll be handcuffed and taken to the police station for questioning. Abe will insist that he’s innocent, but his side of the story may be tough to believe.
Later, Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) will see a picture that leaves her distraught. There’s a good chance this will be about Abe’s arrest. Claire will undoubtedly worry about how Theo is going to react. The whole town will be taken aback when they get updates on the mayor’s arrest. This should be a huge story in Salem.
Theo will definitely be concerned about Abe’s fate. If Abe goes to prison for years, Theo will feel like he has no one to rely on. Of course, DOOL fans know that Abe won’t be locked up for long. Days spoilers hint that an upcoming twist could change everything.
Elsewhere, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will beg Joey (James Lastovic) to reconsider. He just announced that he intends to confess to Ava’s (Tamara Braun) murder. Joey simply isn’t willing to back down on this. Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Kayla will try to talk her son out of it, but it’ll be no use.
Fortunately, Joey will at least get a little more time with his family before he heads to the slammer. He’ll enjoy a goodbye gathering with his loved ones next week. Back at the station, JJ (Casey Moss) will lash out at Commissioner Raines (Aaron D. Spears). This could be a bit tricky since Raines is JJ’s boss, but he’ll feel the need to speak up.
After hearing about the problems Lani (Sal Stowers) faced, JJ will suggest that Raines was out of line. Lani couldn’t divulge classified details and Raines knows that. Nevertheless, Raines probably won’t appreciate JJ’s outburst. We’ll keep you posted as other Days info comes in.
