‘Flip or Flop’ star Tarek El Moussa is desperate to prove to the world that he was having a difficult time with his testicular and thyroid cancer battles. This is after critics slammed Tarek for blaming his soon-to-be ex wife Christina El Moussa for his medical issues.
Tarek and Christina separated back in May of 2016 after a nasty fight inside their home. Christina called the police believing that Tarek was suicidal after he fled their home with a gun following their argument.
Tarek, for his part, said he took the gun with him because he was going for a run and was worried about mountain lions and rattlesnakes in the area. But some fans aren’t convinced. A lot of critics also believe that Tarek might be using his cancer battles as a way to convince his fans that he was also emotionally distraught and sick these last couple of years.
Tarek wrote in his post, “I thought I would share this with everyone … to truly understand how absolutely sick I was … look at this photo and look at my eyes, I was a skeleton. “I never quit although I wanted to thousands of times all day every day. This is from hurting my back after battling 2 cancers.. I had a 60 pound weight swing from my illnesses. I’m proud to say I didn’t quit and I’m in the best shape of my life!! ”
Yet, a lot of Tarek’s critics aren’t so sure about his appearance in the photo. Some say that it doesn’t look like Tarek had lost 60 pounds while others believe that he might not be telling the entire truth about his supposed health struggles.
At this point, no one knows what the real truth is behind closed doors, except of course for Tarek and Christina themselves.
