General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Andre (Anthony Montgomery) will have to face the consequences of his actions. He helped the mastermind carry out a cruel memory mapping study and now the twins are tackling terrible challenges. Jason (Steve Burton) has lost Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Drew has to figure out who he really is. Andre’s manipulation definitely turned their lives upside down.
There are a few paths that GH could take here. Andre was arrested and confessed to his evil deeds. Unless he backtracks later, Andre may go before a judge to be convicted. He could be thrown behind bars for a very long time. In essence, he ‘killed’ Andrew by removing his memories and facilitated the kidnapping and imprisonment of Jason – a life sentence would fit Andre’s crimes.
However, that’s not the only potential exit route for Andre. He could also escape, but that’d be a lackluster option since there was already a search for him. General Hospital might want to go with something a little different.
Andre suggested that he was ready to take his punishment. He understands that what he did hurt the twins and he’s truly sorry. It wouldn’t make sense if Andre flew the coop now. Plus, going on the run again sounds quite risky. Does Andre actually want to take his chances out there after spilling the mastermind’s plan? Andre would surely be in grave danger.
Of course, an imprisoned Andre could even be in peril. The mastermind undoubtedly has minions all over the place. He may have a couple of thugs at Pentonville who could take care of his problem. This GH baddie must be ruthless. He or she might order a hit on Andre to send a message to other possible betrayers.
The mastermind may also fear that Andre will come clean about the whole story. There’s no guarantee that Andre’s spilled everything. He may know the mastermind’s identity after all. It’s tough to blame Andre if he’s staying silent about that to protect his own life.
Andre could be killed before he has the opportunity to divulge anything more. Still, we can’t rule out the idea that Andre will make a deal of some sort. The memory mapping study is supposedly irreversible so far, but maybe Andre could find the solution if he tries a bit harder. This way Andre could redeem himself to some extent. In soap land, that might be enough to get Andre off the hook.
