General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) has a dose of good luck in her future. She’s been pushing the Corinthos clan awfully hard since her pregnancy was confirmed. Nelle’s playing hardball in hopes of setting herself up with a cushy lifestyle. Naturally, that’s led to major tension.
Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) aren’t happy about this, but Michael (Chad Duell) wants to handle it his way. If Michael refuses to cave in, Nelle could do everything in her power to keep his kid from him. General Hospital spoilers say Michael will mull it over and eventually reach a difficult decision.
Michael will make a heartfelt plea next week, December 18-22, so perhaps he’ll go to Nelle and try to work out an agreement. There’s no point in fighting her on this. Nelle has all the leverage at the moment. General Hospital spoilers state that the hostility could slowly fade.
During the week of December 25-29, things could really start to shift. Ava (Maura West) will do something that leads to some uncertainty. Afterward, she’ll fear it wasn’t her place to butt in. General Hospital spoilers this could tie in with Michael and Nelle.
Ava recently took Nelle under her wing, so she’s going to help her out as this story moves along. Since Ava’s in a relationship with the angelic Griffin (Matt Cohen), she might open up about her experience in a chat with Michael. He may not care what Ava has to say, but she could make her spiel anyway.
Ava might contend that sometimes people who are truly broken just need someone who will never give up on them. Griffin saw the good in Ava and refused to let the darkness take over. Ava could hint that Michael needs to focus on the glimmer of goodness he once saw in Nelle. If he won’t do it for Nelle’s sake, then maybe he could do it for the sake of their child.
Michael will rely on his family’s support a little later. He still has tough choices to make. GH spoilers say Nelle will feel like she has some hope again. Could Michael and Nelle agree to be friendly co-parents? Will Michael even consider reuniting with Nelle and raising their kid together?
That might be the final push Carly needs to take drastic action. Sonny (Maurice Benard) essentially suggested he’d have Nelle killed if Carly OK’d it. She may not be ready to go that far yet, but trouble’s definitely brewing. Could Ava’s support ironically lead to Nelle’s demise? We’ll give you updates as other General Hospital news comes in.
