General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, February 1 reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) kick off a bold new plan to trap Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) boss but they need some help.
Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) have roles to play. Sonny must get to the hospital ASAP to stage a scene for Julian. Griffin helps Sonny get into Jason’s room for the fake argument they set up. Then it’s Sam’s turn to play her role.
Sam gets her dad positioned outside Jason’s door. She confronts him on drugging Jason and putting him at risk. She ask him “what have you done” but really, she just wants him near the door to hear what Sonny and Jason say to each other.
Jason tells Sonny that he won’t risk his family to help him out anymore and says “I’m out.” That convinces Julian that Jason has backed off and won’t investigate the bomb anymore. Since Sonny is on house arrest, he’s not of a concern for Julian.
With Julian thinking Sonny and Jason are on the outs, he’ll go about his business and Curtis will be tasked with following him to learn where the new mob boss keeps her lair. It’s a good plan, but can they carry it out without Julian noticing? Curtis is pretty sly.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) comes home and demands to know what happened when she finds a cop at their home. Is Sonny in trouble for going to the hospital and breaking house arrest without permission? Griffin can cover for him this time.
Nina Cassadine (Michelle Stafford) doesn’t like Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) near her husband and says she’s obsessed with Valentin Cassadine (James Stuart). Anna hits back and says it’s Valentin that’s obsessed with her.
Nina hates hearing that – Anna is toying with the wrong nut case. Meanwhile, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) meets with her Greek baby daddy to play nice and offers him an olive branch. She says they can work out custody without going through the courts.
But we know Lulu still plans to steal Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) away. Speaking of secret plots, Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) spends time with Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) and says his mom told him she’s seeing someone.
Carly has invented this married man scenario. Michael is ready to fight to be with her, but is there a family tie keeping them apart? Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) makes a call for help on Wednesday – what is that about?
Maybe she sees Nelle with Michael looking too cozy and wants to put a stop to it. We know Bobbie will take steps later in the week to dig into Nelle’s tortured past to try and cut her out of Carly’s life.
