General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will be found today (April 12) bloody and battered and it’s no accident he was targeted. This could be the work of shady lab tech Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). Brad wants revenge and is playing dirty against Finn.
Brad has a long history of criminal activities. He and Rosalie Martinez (Linda Elena Tovar) were involved in a crime so bad they had to get married to ensure one couldn’t be forced to testify against the other. And while in Port Charles, Brad tried to blackmail Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) into sex.
That’s just the start of the creepy stuff Brad has done. Brad helped Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) with her illegal embryo stealing plot to trick Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) and Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) and at one point, claimed the baby was his.
Brad has also been a co-conspirator with both Britt and her wicked mom Dr Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gait). And now Brad hates Finn and wants to take him down. General Hospital spoilers say Finn should have checked into Brad’s dark history before he decided to cross him over the Blackwood cure.
Brad was wrong from the get-go. He didn’t deserve any of the patent money since he was just doing lab work anyone tech could have done, but he was blackmailing Finn and forced him to promise him a share of the profits. Finn made the promise with no intent to keep it.
Too bad for Finn that he has once again made himself vulnerable to Brad’s schemes. Brad knows Finn is a desperate druggie who’s trying to hide his addiction from senior staff at GH to protect his job and professional reputation. Brad will blow it all up.
It seems likely that Brad knows local criminals like the drug dealer that sold Finn the opioid we saw him buy on Tuesday’s General Hospital episode (April 11). Whether the drug dealer beat Finn or it was other tough guys, it wouldn’t be surprising to learn Brad arranged the beating to teach Finn a lesson.
On the preview for Wednesday’s new GH episode, we saw Brad smiling at a message on his phone. Was he getting confirmation from the thugs that they beat Finn into submission and left him at the docks? Given Brad’s vindictive nature, that would be something he would do.
But don’t forget, Brad’s also a pal of Dr Obrecht who despises Finn. She blames Finn for losing her slot as Chief of Staff. Having Finn beaten is personal but Obrecht also wants to destroy Finn professionally. We can expect Brad to spill the beans soon about Finn’s addiction.
Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) might not listen to Obrecht make accusations against Finn but if Brad approaches Monica with evidence that Finn is doping, she’d have no choice but to fire the lizard loving doc. But this could cost Brad everything.
Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) will be furious to learn Brad is up to his old dirty tricks again. This could wreck Brad and Lucas’ marriage which leads to another GH rumor. There has been talk for a while that Ryan Carnes is planning to leave General Hospital to pursue other opportunities and a split with Brad would help him exit.
