General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that some major returns are coming up on the ABC soap. The latest comings and goings news reveals that several popular characters are headed back to Port Charles. In a GH Facebook live chat, Laura Wright (Carly) and Steve Burton (ex-Jason, Patient Six) offered the scoop on who will show up.
Burton confirmed that Kimberly McCullough will reprise her role as Robin. He noted that he couldn’t wait for us to see their scenes together, so it sounds like those emotional moments will arrive pretty soon. It should be interesting to see Robin’s reaction to Patient Six. She’ll have a chance to look Burton’s character in the eyes and decide for herself if he’s Jason.
The DNA test results could make this tricky, but Carly and Sonny may hold out hope that P6 is the real deal. Will Robin join Patient Six’s team as well? General Hospital spoilers state that Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will also get back in the mix. He’s obviously needed for this storyline.
After all, Spinelli’s face recognition software played a role in how they figured out Billy Miller’s character was Jason. Now Spinelli could wonder if he was wrong. Patient Six’s existence alone is enough to create doubts. The people of Port Charles just aren’t sure what to think right now.
In that Facebook live chat we mentioned, Burton was asked about another fan favorite. General Hospital spoilers hint that we shouldn’t rule out Lucky’s (Jonathan Jackson) long-awaited return. A viewer wondered if Burton could pull a few strings and convince Jackson to head back to GH.
Burton suggested that he’d give it a try. “If you’re lucky, I can,” Burton said. “We’ll see.” General Hospital watchers would indeed be lucky to get Lucky! Let’s hope that Burton can talk Jackson into it down the road. Many fans would love to see Lucky fit in some new storylines, but even a popup would be appreciated. We’ll certainly take what we can get.
In other GH news, Vernee Watson (Stella) found time to shoot a fun side gig recently. She’ll be appearing as a nurse in an episode of Young Sheldon. You can catch Watson’s CBS guest spot on November 9 at 8:00 p.m. ET. You can bet that Watson will bring a lot to the role. Her Young Sheldon character will likely be just as sassy as Stella!
