General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the robbery at The Floating Rib will soon prove disastrous for Ava Jerome (Maura West). Ava was just a few moments away from sealing the deal with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and the pill bottle was almost in her hands then the robbery occurred.
Some General Hospital fans have theorized that Ava set up the robbery, but it’s clear that is not what happened. Ava was genuinely scared when the robber held her at gunpoint then even more distraught when Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) refused to let Ava touch the bag of pilfered goods.
Lucy smirked and walked out with her bribe but Ava was left in the lurch. Ava was worried at the Rib but then things will get worse soon. Jordan tasks Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to deal with the robbery evidence and Dante is shocked at what he finds among the items.
It makes sense that there are cell phones, jewelry, and wallets. What makes no sense is a bottle of Lithium labeled for Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) and with a date on it for a few weeks before he died. General Hospital spoilers say that Dante starts an investigation into Morgan’s pill bottle next week.
It’s an easy conclusion, even for a mediocre PCPD cop, to figure out that someone in the bar had Morgan’s pill bottle. They also know everyone that was there. You have to immediately discount all the extras and that leaves Lucy, Ava, Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth), and Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero).
Ned and Olivia have no direct ties to Morgan but Ava does. If Dante corners Lucy, there’s also the question of whether Lucy will keep her lips zipped. She was paid well with the valuable sculpture for her silence, so if Lucy still thinks it’s about an affair, General Hospital spoilers say she might keep quiet.
However, there was a bartender there. The guy might have seen which woman had the pills in her purse. Or he might have seen that Lucy and Ava were discussing the pills and bargaining. If so, Lucy may be scared into telling everything she knows when Dante comes asking questions.
By mid-week’s new GH episodes, Dante is intrigued and tries to put the pieces together to figure out how Morgan’s bottle wound up in the bar. By the end of the week, he’s suspicious of Ava. Meanwhile, Ava is terrified her secret will come out and tells Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) what happened and appeals for help.
General Hospital spoilers claim that when Ava begins losing it by the end of the week of April 3 to April 7 because of all the stress, she takes out her frustration on Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) who will not understand why her mom is freaking out. When the ugly truth comes out, Kiki will be shocked and that could be the end of the mother-daughter bond.
General Hospital spoilers indicate Dante will crack the case and when he does, Ava better watch her back because Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be coming for her. There’s no telling what Sonny will do or how far he’ll go when he finds out the Jerome sisters together killed his son.
