General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Drew (Billy Miller) will become even more frustrated by the unknown. Jason (Steve Burton) made a good point during Wednesday’s GH episode, December 13. He suggested that the memory mapping study couldn’t turn Drew into an exact Jason copy. Drew has Jason’s memories, but he has a different personality and makes choices that don’t line up with his twin’s views.
That means Drew’s still in there somewhere. It’s clear that the memory imprinting phase was a success, but maybe the memory wiping phase wasn’t as accurate. Drew’s memories may be buried, but there’s a chance that he can get them back.
General Hospital spoilers say Drew will go to extremes with his next decision. He’ll begin a bold mission, so this could be about recapturing what he’s lost. Drew hasn’t had much luck triggering anything, but he thought Kim (Tamara Braun) seemed familiar when he first saw her. That’s something to build on. There are many options Drew can pursue as he works to reclaim his identity.
For starters, Drew could try hypnosis. If a trained professional puts him under, Drew might be able to recall a few facts he’s been missing. Even just a couple memories could be helpful. Of course, there are other routes Drew could take. A trip to San Diego might be an interesting tactic.
Perhaps Kim could come along on this adventure. Together they could retrace Drew’s steps and hopefully spark something. That’d be a great setup if GH wants Drew and Kim to reconnect. She could become Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) rival if old feelings are stirred up.
However, Drew may not get the results he’s looking for with these strategies. He may have to take a more scientific approach. Since a memory wiping procedure kicked off this mess, a memory restoration procedure may be the only thing that can fix it.
Will Drew find a doctor who can put an end to his suffering? Should he risk messing with his mind and potentially losing some of his memories as Jason? Drew certainly doesn’t want to forget the last couple years with his family. General Hospital spoilers hint that some tough choices are on the way.
