General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Franco (Roger Howarth) will pay the price for deceiving Liz (Rebecca Herbst). He’ll manage to keep her in the dark for a while, but secrets have a way of coming out. GH will continue to explore this character’s dark side, but Drew (Billy Miller) may be the one we need to focus on.
When Betsy (Deborah Strang) told Franco about his actions as a little boy, it naturally freaked him out. Franco’s worried that maybe his tumor wasn’t the only source of his violent behavior. If he pushed Drew down the stairs, Franco may have had darkness within him from a young age.
However, there seems to be more to the story here. Betsy claimed she didn’t actually witness Franco’s attack, so Drew may have instigated the altercation. No one could blame Franco for struggling with Drew to protect himself. If Betsy’s telling the truth, it must be significant that she only saw the aftermath.
Kim (Tamara Braun) supposedly feared Drew might’ve had a dark side she didn’t know about. She claims she reconsidered after the memory mapping details were revealed. However, more revelations are on the way and they could change the game. General Hospital spoilers hint once Drew’s memories resurface, he’ll have even more drama to deal with.
We can’t forget that Drew’s last name is “Cain.” There’s a reason GH named him after a disobedient biblical figure who was jealous enough to kill his own brother. The Franco incident might tie in here, but Drew could’ve easily betrayed Jason (Steve Burton) as well.
Faison (Anders Hove) wanted Jason dead, but perhaps Drew wanted to punish his brother first. He might’ve planned to hand Jason over to someone and take his place in Port Charles. Drew’s memory mapping participation may have been voluntary.
The only info anyone has about Drew comes from a few files and Kim. That’s not enough to say with certainty that Drew was a good guy. Kim’s awfully shady, so it’s possible she’s leaving out some crucial facts.
Think about the manuscript Jason found. It was called “The Severed Branch” and according to Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), its arrival threw Faison for a loop. Could the title be a hint about Drew? His branch of the Quartermaine family tree was cut off. No one knew Drew existed, so he may have been envious of Jason’s place within this powerful clan. Was Drew the severed branch – cut off because he was evil?
Of course, Drew can’t remember any schemes he might’ve cooked up. Who sent the manuscript? Could it have been a threat from Kim? General Hospital was playing up the Quartermaine angle with Oscar (Garren Stitt) on Monday. He falls under that severed branch category through his connection to Drew.
Maybe it’s no coincidence that Kim showed up in Port Charles when she did. She may have big plans to take down someone who forced her into silence years ago. Whatever the case, some stunning moments are ahead. We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in.
