General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that many layers of the twin mystery still need to be revealed. Naturally, viewers are wondering who the traitor is and who stole Drew’s (Billy Miller) memories. However, there’s an even more intriguing piece of the puzzle. Faison (Anders Hove) was chasing the traitor, but what about the threat he fears? Who sent the manuscript that rocked Faison to the core?
Let’s consider what know so far. Faison was spooked enough to throw the manuscript in the fire and bolt. He seemed disturbed by its significance and the source behind it. The title of this manuscript was The Severed Branch, which might’ve been a hint about the family tree branch that Faison cut off. By wiping Drew’s memories and turning him into Jason 2.0, it severed Drew’s Quartermaine branch.
Faison is one of the biggest baddies around, so it takes a lot to put some fear in him. The person threatening Faison must have major dirt or a strategy to make him pay. Is this threat good or evil? That probably depends on his or her motives for wanting Faison to stand down.
Since the traitor is supposedly in Port Charles, the manuscript sender may have wanted to shoo Faison away. He or she must’ve known that The Severed Branch would do the trick. This person could be working with the traitor on some level, or even be the traitor. He or she could’ve come along to get Faison out of the picture.
It’s also possible that the person Faison fears is protecting Jason (Steve Burton) and Drew. After all, Faison wanted Jason dead before all the chaos hit. Drew will also be in danger based on things he could remember once he gets his memory back. Of course, protecting the twins doesn’t mean the manuscript sender is someone with a helpful agenda. He or she could simply have personal secrets to guard like being part the Mastermind team.
Who will this fierce GH threat turn out to be? Peter (Wes Ramsey), Kim (Tamara Braun), Cassandra (Jessica Tuck) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) could all be factors in this storyline. Other potential players could emerge before long. General Hospital spoilers say the mystery will continue to unravel in the months ahead.
