General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, January 5 reveal trouble at Gene’s roadhouse as Alexis Davis (Nancy Grahn) struggles to figure out what happened the night Tom Baker (Don Harvey) was killed. She goes to the ratty roadhouse to try and jog her memory.
Too bad Franco (Roger Howarth) is there and he’s also asking questions about Tom. Franco quizzes the ginger bartender on what happened and who Tom talked to the night he died. The barkeep doesn’t seem too keen on giving Franco information.
Franco knows Tom was with a woman and then notices Alexis is there and her behavior and actions cause him to suspect her. Franco has to think carefully because he knows how badly he’s hurt Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) and doesn’t want to hurt her more.
Franco won’t run to the PCPD with the information about Alexis even though it could clear him but she might wind up a suspect in the case anyway. After Franco leaves, the bartender tells Alexis they both know more about the night Tom was killed.
A recent promo GH video shows Alexis in an alley out back of the roadhouse and she’s waving a knife around that looks like the murder weapon saying “you messed with the wrong woman.” Alexis is a red herring in this murder case, but this looks intriguing.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) talk about their renewed relationship and how they move forward. Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) and Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) get closer and make a deal to seal their friendship.
Julian Jerome (William deVry) is well enough to make it out of the house and meets Sam at the MetroCourt. Sam has questions for her dad about Winston Rudge (David Lee) but Julian just wants her to back off. He pleads with her because he worries her life and baby are at risk.
Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) continue to probe the bombing case and they’ll come across homeless guy Buzz (Don Swayze) who’s on GH for just two days. Does Buzz have information about the bomb case? Was he a witness that could help the guys?
Curtis tells someone that it’s time to confess their sins. Who is he talking to? Buzz? Jason gets a surprise as they continue to investigate the case and soon enough, Sam will wind up in danger because of all this and Rudge will put a target on Jason.
