General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, December 29, tease that New Year’s Eve will bring fireworks in more ways than one. Before the action heats up, Drew (Billy Miller) will have a night of frustration. First, he’ll have a chat with Kim (Tamara Braun) at GH, but she won’t be able to offer any other helpful details. Kim will only provide vague answers that get Drew nowhere.
Drew will eventually admit he’s got somewhere to be. Thanks to Carly (Laura Wright), his evening will take a truly rotten turn. Drew will struggle with car trouble and fret when he can’t make it to Sam (Kelly Monaco) by midnight. Meanwhile, Jason (Steve Burton) will open up to Sam on The Haunted Star. He’ll share some deep thoughts about the past as they grow closer.
Later, General Hospital spoilers say Sam will join Jason outside for the fireworks show. She’ll gaze at the beauty in the sky, but Jason’s eyes will be locked on his love. After warm memories resurface, Jason and Sam will lean in for a passionate kiss.
This is the result Carly wanted, but that doesn’t mean her scheming will turn out well for her. Sonny (Maurice Benard) certainly won’t have a good feeling about Carly’s latest trick. He’ll warn that whatever she planned isn’t going to work. Carly will remain confident, but backlash is brewing next week!
Anna (Finola Hughes) will also have a handsome man by her side for New Year’s Eve. She’ll ask Finn (Michael Easton) to stay and he’ll happily agree. The sexual tension will be thick on this special occasion. Meanwhile, Lulu (Emme Rylan) will needle Nina (Michelle Stafford) at a party. They’ll exchange a few jabs as they down Champagne.
When Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) wonders what’s going on, Lulu will suggest that Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) up to his neck in something. She’ll believe Nina is covering for him, but that’s only partially true. Nina knows Valentin has been playing Cassandra (Jessica Tuck), but she doesn’t know just how bad things have gotten.
Across town, Cassandra will order her right-hand man to beat the truth out of Valentin. She’ll want answers about who Valentin’s been working with. Will Valentin crack under the pressure? Regardless, Anna and Finn are bound to get stuck in a jam soon. They can’t avoid the consequences of their plot forever.
