General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that storylines will continue to collide on the ABC soap. GH has done a great job of connecting hot plots over the past few months. Ava’s (Maura West) desire for facial reconstruction took her to Russia, where she met Patient Six aka Jason (Steve Burton). Griffin’s (Matt Cohen) rescue efforts brought him into contact with Jason, too.
Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) puppy love also led to the introduction of Oscar (Garren Stitt) and Kim (Tamara Braun). Now they’re involved in Drew’s (Billy Miller) storyline, so things have a way of coming together. It looks like another story is about to cross over into Kim’s territory. A stunning mastermind link may emerge soon.
General Hospital spoilers hint, through Kathleen Gati, that Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) paternity mystery is about to heat up. There have been some big clues that point in a surprising direction. For starters, let’s go back to when Oscar and Josslyn were searching for info about his father. They turned his home upside down until Oscar realized his mom usually hid her secrets in plain sight.
Kim hid a goodbye note from Drew in an Ask Man Landers book. That might’ve been a sneaky hint about a connection that would come later. Now General Hospital has put Kim in Nathan and Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) orbit. Kim obviously doesn’t know Nathan based on their first interaction, but something’s still up. GH is laying the groundwork for a shocker.
After Maxie and Nathan’s appointment, they asked Kim if she had any kids of her own. Kim mentioned that she had a son and quickly changed the subject to Nathan’s family medical records. That made him turn to Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) for more info.
Dr. O’s phone call let us know she had no interest in telling Nathan the real story. She’s clearly cooking up some bogus documents behind his back. This will create more complications for Nathan as clues about his biological father surface.
General Hospital spoilers suggest that this mystery will slowly unravel, but there’s enough evidence to link Kim and Nathan’s stories. What could all of this mean? Nathan’s dad must be some villainous character and GH has hinted that Oscar’s dad may be as well.
Could Nathan and Oscar be brothers or perhaps related in some other way? A father-son connection is possible in this crazy soap world, but it seems unlikely since Kim didn’t recognize Nathan. Then again, sperm stealing happens occasionally. You never know what kind of twisted tale GH will come up with.
Of course, there’s also a chance that Kim will simply lead Nathan to the truth. Maybe she’ll eventually realize that some threat from her past, that makes her appear so afraid at times on GH, is Nathan’s father. We know that Dr. Obrecht was willing to murder Victor Cassadine (Thaao Penghlis) in order to keep Nathan from knowing who his father was (it was NOT Victor). Is Nathan’s dad the mastermind of the memory mapping study? GH could use Kim as a stepping stone on Nathan’s journey for answers.
