General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Morgan Blood Test Shocker – Jake Doe Not Danny’s Dad and Not A Quartermaine?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal details about Steve Burton’s return to the ABC soap opera and how Billy Miller’s character will be used to introduce this return. The scoop is shocking and will put the viewers on the edge of the seats. The biggest question is, can the GH writers pull off this big of a storyline or will they wind up with another disaster like the ‘Fluke? debacle’

So far, the General Hospital writers have been tight-lipped about Burton’s return to the soap opera. However, based on the spoilers on social media, his return could be rather shocking. Apparently, the storyline will re-introduce Steve Burton as Jason Morgan, the real Stone Cold Jason, kicking into high gear after Jason (Billy Miller) is nearly fatally shot and is shuffled off to surgery.

Before being taken to life-saving surgery, General Hospital spoilers say Jason will undergo numerous blood tests. It could reveal that Jason is not really a Quartermaine and Danny (Casey Lambert) is not really his son. It will take some creativity for this storyline to work, but with careful planning, the General Hospital writers could pull it off.

To make the storyline work, the writers face a few obstacles. They would have to figure out a way to rewrite history without turning the fans off. It can be done, but it will take careful planning.

General Hospital worked hard to prove Jake was really Jason Morgan. First, they proved Jason’s DNA by matching Jake’s blood to the criminal database. Of course, the GH writers could claim that Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) hacked into the database.

Then, there’s Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) computer program that took Jason’s bone structure to his original face. It isn’t clear how TPTB will dispute these two facts. It will definitely be a tough sell. Of course if Billy Miller’s Jason Morgan is an identical twin with Steve Burton’s then at least the face issue is solved – but not the blood….

During the week of August 28, Sonny (Maurice Benard) will call a meeting to announce and plan his departure from the mob. Sam (Kelly Monaco) suggests her husband assist Sonny to get out of the mob for good. It becomes apparent that Jason should have never interfered because the end result is a mob shoot out that General Hospital buzz suggests begins Jason’s transition back to Jake Doe.

Jason will fight for his life, and before it’s all over GH buzz is suggesting that Sam, Carly (Laura Wright), and Sonny will all question why he is acting so different. Sam will suggest that it feels like he isn’t the same person anymore.

General Hospital reports on the Internet claim that the lab work will come in and Jason will learn that he isn’t really a Quartermaine and Danny isn’t his child. They won’t figure out that Miller’s version of Jason isn’t the real deal for quite some time, but it will begin the journey. So according to some General Hospital reports Jake Doe is not the really Jason Morgan and we will learn that after he is shot this week.

Steve Burton’s first air date should be around September 18. ABC has yet to confirm his airdate or release any details about Stone Cold’s storyline. The only tidbit GH writers revealed was that Port Charles would be turned upside down when a man who looks exactly like Jason did before his reconstructive surgery suddenly pops up. It will send shockwaves throughout PC.
