General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is known for being a very potent male and he may have struck again with lovely lady lawyer Martina Morales (Daya Vaidya). Will Martina turn up pregnant and further complicate Sonny’s life and kill any chance he has at reconciling with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) in the future?
Even if Sonny and Martina don’t have a repeat of their night of passion, General Hospital spoilers say the damage might already be done and Sonny might have spawned his umpteenth baby. But it doesn’t seem likely that Martina and Sonny were a one night deal with nothing more to come. Recently, Maurice Benard invited fans to ask questions and he was grilled about Martina.
He was asked whether she was a new “love interest” and Maurice replied “I wouldn’t call it a new love interest. A new fun interest.” Fun sounds like lots more of Sonny and Martina rolling around in her bed at The Haunted Star in secret so Carly won’t find out. And once Carly does find out, Sonny can roll around with Martina wherever and whenever he wants.
Not only did Martina not know she was sleeping with Port Charles’ top mobster when she left Sonny her room key at the Haunted Star bar, but she also had no idea how fertile he is. Think about it. General Hospital fans know Sonny got Ava Jerome (Maura West) pregnant with just one session of creepy crypt lovemaking. And with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), all it took was one hot night to get her knocked up.
Remember, Sonny has four baby mamas we know of – Alexis, Ava, Carly and Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero). Plus, he also got Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) pregnant only baby Lila died at birth and Lily Corinthos (Lilly Melgar) also had a child that died. Plus, he got Claudia Zacchara (Sarah Brown) pregnant too but she miscarried.
The fact is, if you live in Port Charles and sleep with Sonny, it’s extremely likely you’ll get pregnant. General Hospital spoilers say the fertility odds are in favor of Martina showing up pregnant at some point. Sonny didn’t seem to be in a cautious mood when he picked up the room key and followed Martina to her stateroom. All he wanted was revenge so it seems he might be sloppy.
That’s the same kind of dangerous mood Sonny was in when he hooked up with Ava at AJ Quartermaine’s (Sean Kanan) funeral that resulted in baby Avery Corinthos. Sonny definitely doesn’t need any more children in his life and his divorce to Carly is already complicated enough without adding impregnating her lawyer into the mix. Then again, it would be a great General Hospital plot twist.
Whether or not the GH writers decide to carry on the grand tradition of Sonny’s undeniable fertility remains to be seen, but given his history, it seems quite possible Martina winds up pregnant.
