General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the ABC soap could be gearing up for a major transformation. They’re setting Michael (Chad Duell) up for a fall that could change everything. Michael has been pretty easy-going for a while now, but it’s time to bring back his fighting spirit. Never forget that this guy is tough! Michael is willing to kill to protect the people he loves. GH also seems to have a corporate war in the works. Ned (Wally Kurth) is back at ELQ and he’s already making some strategic moves. It’s clear that Ned would like to be the one sitting on the throne. What sneaky plan will Ned attempt? Only a few people know about Nelle’s shady past right now, but what happens if Ned learns the truth? It’s possible that he’ll use that info against Michael. If this story falls into the wrong hands, the press could paint an ugly picture. “ELQ CEO Dates Suspected Murderer” isn’t a headline that Michael wants to wake up to.
Of course, there are other ways for Ned to swoop in and take over. He could simply come up with more profitable tactics and undermine Michael’s authority with the board. Michael could be on the verge of losing both his job and his girlfriend.
On top of all that, Sonny (Maurice Benard) is preparing for fierce mob drama. The show currently acts like Michael’s heart is too pure to follow in Sonny’s footsteps, but history suggests otherwise. If the situation calls for it, will Michael join Sonny’s team? It’s possible, especially if Michael has nothing left to lose!
