General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Monday, May 8, tease that Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) will discuss the danger that’s looming. It looks like Sam will have some concerns about the quest for info on Jake’s (Hudson West) past. Liz will point out that if Helena (Constance Towers) did something to Jake, the clues are on Cassadine Island.
Sam will understand that, but it won’t stop her from worrying about Jason’s safety. Liz will also fret when Franco (Roger Howarth) misses their date night. She’ll fear that’s something could be wrong and she’s right since Franco is following Jason to Cassadine Island.
Elsewhere, Jason will reach out to Daphne (Andrea Savo). He’ll hope that she can provide some important answers. It appears Jason and Daphne’s chat will be helpful. On Tuesday’s new GH episode, May 9, Jason will have a startling realization that could change everything.
Meanwhile, things may be shifting for Nelle (Chloe Lanier). She’ll run into Michael (Chad Duell) in the park and the tension may lift slightly. Michael will be babysitting Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) and Nelle will have Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) with her. It seems Nelle will try to scurry off with the tot she’s caring for, but Charlotte will put up a fight. She’ll beg to stay a little longer, which may give Nelle and Michael some time to reconnect.
Other General Hospital spoilers state that Carly (Laura Wright) will speak with her lawyer about the divorce. Martina (Daya Zaidya) will likely go over their latest strategy and any changes they need to make. However, it sounds like the conversation could take a personal turn.
GH spoilers say Carly will begin to soften toward Sonny. Martina will quickly pick up on Carly’s new attitude. She’ll wonder if Carly is divorcing Sonny or defending him. Carly might snap out of it and assure Martina that she wants rid of her husband. She’s probably too stubborn to back down just yet.
Of course, Martina is hiding the fact that she hooked up with Sonny. She didn’t know he was her client’s ex, but the damage is done. Martina may struggle to keep this secret, especially since Ava (Maura West) is in the loop but General Hospital spoilers tell us that Carly will learn the truth anyway.
Sonny will do his best to keep Ava quiet. General Hospital spoilers reveal that Ava will give Sonny a few demands in Monday’s episode regarding Avery. After Sonny agrees to her conditions, Ava will suggest that he won’t regret it. Sonny will cryptically reply, “But you might.”
Ava could be getting in over her head here. After all, she’s got some deadly secrets of her own. Morgan’s (Bryan Craig) pill drama is set to explode soon enough.
