General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that big trouble is brewing for Nelle (Chloe Lanier). She’s made many enemies since she arrived in Port Charles and she’s in the process of making even more. No one trusts Nelle, which makes it difficult for her to find employment. As Nelle grows increasingly desperate, she’ll dig a deeper hole for herself. Nelle may not be able to climb out of this one!
For a while, GH was trying to show viewers both sides of Nelle. She’s always been a schemer, but it seemed like she truly cared about Michael (Chad Duell) and wanted to be a better person. Nelle just couldn’t stop getting in her own way. However, now it feels like the show is ditching any redeeming qualities. Nelle is portrayed as a ruthless liar who’s only looking out for number one.
That could be important as Nelle’s storyline moves forward. When General Hospital characters sink to this level, the end is usually near. Is a murder mystery brewing? There would certainly be no shortage of suspects. Nelle could regret making all those adversaries and crossing the line so many times.
If Nelle ends up dead, who could the culprit be? Let’s run down the list of people who would have a motive. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) is an easy one since he already threatened Nelle. He has no qualms about usually deadly force to eliminate his problems.
Of course, Nelle’s on Nina’s bad side now as well. If Nelle makes another move that puts Nina’s family in jeopardy, it’s not difficult to imagine Nina snapping and doing the deed. Carly (Laura Wright), Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) are options, too. They definitely hate Nelle with a passion.
It looks like Nelle could either fake a pregnancy or possibly have a real one that results in a miscarriage. Either way, Maxie’s (Kristen Storms) baby could be swiped down the road. Would Mama Maxie be willing to commit murder? She just might be angry enough to take Nelle out.
Even Michael could be to blame. He may reach the end of his rope if Nelle schemes once again. Anyone can crack in the heat of the moment. We can’t forget about Zack’s bitter sister, Sharon (Brea Bee), either. She could return for deadly revenge – Nelle is not safe, even from her past!
There’s also a chance that a tragic accident will be mistaken for murder. That’d still leave Nelle’s enemies in hot water. The cops would inevitably reach the wrong conclusion, so someone may land behind bars.
