General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that maybe a pregnant Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) should have thought twice before she threatened the reigning crime lord of Port Charles’ son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) into giving into her every whim when it comes to her and their baby she is carrying.
As GH fans remember, Nelle arrived in town in August 2016, and won over the hearts of the Corinthos clan when they learned that she was the one who saved Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) life by unwittingly donating one of her kidneys. But we all know how quickly Nelle left a sour taste in our mouths when Nelle revealed she was Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) adopted sister and drugged her husband, Sonny (Maurice Benard), making him believe he had sex with her.
GH buzz teases that Nelle has done a lot of unforgivable things that people seemed to overlook, as if what she did was misguided; but this pregnancy is something no one can wish away. Carly has already met with her mother, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zemen), begging her to switch DNA results, so that Michael would never know he was the father. Sonny has whispered to his wife that he could “take care” of this. We all know what that means in “mobster” talk!
General Hospital’s Nelle didn’t waste a second in telling Ava Jerome (Maura West) that her daughter, Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola), that she shares with Sonny is about to become an aunt. Ava seems to welcome the news with open arms; but Nelle should be watching her back because Ava is a snake and at this point will do just about anything to get back in Sonny’s good graces to spend more time with her daughter.
Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) has been desperate to have a child of her own. She is a loving and kind stepmother to Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez), and she doesn’t seem too happy that someone like Nelle could bear a child, that she only sees as a meal ticket. Could Nina revert back to her old ways to ensure a child isn’t raised by a mother so similar to her own.
Nina could enlist her powerful husband, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), to help as these two are likely candidates, both dislike Nelle, especially after she attempted to blackmail them and destroy their marriage; although it is quite obvious both are very devious and don’t need the other to finish Nelle off.
General Hospital spoilers suggest that another suspect would be Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). Ned has never been one who has gotten his hands dirty, but lately he has become more and more obsessed with ELQ and the Quartermaine fortune. Now that it has been revealed that Drew Cain (Billy Miller) is a Quartermaine and Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) is his son – how will he cope with Michael also bringing yet another heir into the family fold? Could this be the straw that breaks the camel’s back?
Sources tease that in the end, we still don’t know if Nelle is really pregnant, and if she isn’t, could that revelation push Michael over the edge? Michael has been lied to so much by this nasty vixen that he could have had enough and snap. It does seem suspicious that her tests show that she is 6 weeks pregnant, the exact same as Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) pregnancy. Are Nelle and Dr. Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) working together?
Either way, it sure looks like Nelle Benson has her fair share of enemies, at least far more than friends. It looks like there are dangerous times ahead for her already risky “pregnancy”. Who do you think will be the one who could murder Nelle?
