General Hospital (GH) spoilers for next week’s Nurses Ball starting May 22 promise music, and high fashion but also danger. New promo photos from the big night reveal the Chimera mystery is front and center and the ladies and gentlemen of Port Charles have no idea their lives are at risk. There is lots to see in these brand new Nurses Ball promo pics from ABC.
Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Palmer Watkins) has a sweet moment with Nurse Deanna (Dioni Michelle Collins) on the red carpet. But later, Dillon will heat things up with Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) when they do a number together. Also getting romantic on the red carpet is Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) and his fiancée Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero). Those two share a lip lock in their finery.
But it’s not all romance and fun at the General Hospital Nurse’s Ball. New promo photos show Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is on high alert after Alex Devane told her about the Chimera Project that’s on the loose. Anna is at the ball with Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) who is shocked to learn Anna was replaced with her twin. Anna and Andre hope to get the Chimera before it’s unleashed.
Things also look tense at the table that Franco (Roger Howarth) and Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) share because they’re worried about Jake Webber (Hudson West). Poor Jake is scared because he’s been programmed to trigger the Chimera canister and release the toxin but he’s fighting the programming from Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). Will Jake win the battle?
Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) also has Chimera on the brain when he talks to Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen). Jason shows Griffin something on a chain – could it be the Chimera necklace Alex has been showing off? Jason is worried but has no clue just how bad things are about to get with his oldest son. Griffin is worried about Anna and it seems someone has filled him in on the bad stuff coming.
One romance that looks rocky at the ball is that of Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine). GH spoilers reveal that Curtis oversteps with Jordan and she’s irritated. Curtis’ ex-girlfriend Valerie Spencer (Brytni Sarpy) is also on hand and that always makes things awkward for Curtis and Jordan. Plus, with Andre there too, things could be tense.
Other excitement on the red carpet is that Mario Lopez will play cohost with Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford). Mario’s daughter, Gina Francesca Lopez, will be on hand for the ball. The tiny brunette beauty will be on the red carpet and at the event inside the MetroCourt. Also in attendance is Emma Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) who’s supposed to be assisting Jake in the magic act.
New GH spoilers reveal Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) makes a grand gesture at the ball to try and win back Nina, but she’s got work on her mind and Mario Lopez at her side, so his gesture might fall flat. Valentin also brings along adorable daughter Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and she’s on the front row and in serious danger from the Chimera toxin.
In addition to Chimera danger, glamor and a little romance, the 2017 Nurse’s Ball features a musical tribute to David Bowie, George Michael, and Billy Joel.
