General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the mystery of Oscar’s (Garren Stitt) father could get even more complicated. Kim (Tamara Braun) claimed that Drew was in the same social circle when they were living in San Diego. She added that he dated her friend, but her reaction to Patient Six (Steve Burton) showed us something deeper. It’s clear that Kim and Drew had a strong connection once upon a time.
Maybe Drew really did date someone Kim knew, but they might’ve pined for each other. Kim may have had another man in her life, too. Perhaps the timing was just off for these two. Kim could’ve gotten pregnant by a different guy and decided that a romance with Drew wasn’t meant to be.
Oscar found a CD that served as a parting gift for Kim. It included plenty of soulful songs about love that just couldn’t work. Drew was a Navy SEAL, so forced relocation was likely an obstacle. Other romances and baby drama could’ve been issues as well.
Things were apparently too messy for Drew and Kim, but they definitely had some sort of past together. Whether they were a full-blown couple or not, there was a spark. However, General Hospital spoilers say Oscar may not be Drew’s biological son. That would actually answer some questions and bring an interesting GH twist.
When Oscar first debuted, he acted like his father was some baddie that abandoned his family. Oscar didn’t spell everything out, but it was heavily implied. That didn’t line up at all with the moment Kim saw Patient Six. She smiled and touched him in awe. Kim looked pleasantly surprised to see that face from her past. Sounds like Oscar’s father is NOT Drew based on Kim’s obvious affection for him.
At the same time, Kim seems terrified that the whole story’s going to come out. She’s jumpy and hesitant to talk about her potential history with Drew. Did she have a jealous boyfriend that came after Drew and found a gruesome fate? Could he have been the reason Drew disappeared?
It’s possible Oscar’s real dad is a deadly threat. He might’ve warned Kim to stay away from Drew or risk getting killed. Oscar’s life certainly could’ve been at stake. All of this opens the door for more details later. Is Oscar’s biological father someone we already know or will meet down the road? Could Billy Miller’s Andrew Cain potentially serve as a father figure anyway?
