General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that one baddie’s about to cause chaos! Anna (Finola Hughes) tried to track down the mini disco ball Andre (Anthony Montgomery) gave her, but she was too late. It had already been swiped from the donation box in the park. Later, GH fans saw the now empty ornament sitting on a desk in someone’s office.
Who took this crucial trinket and why? Let’s look at a few clues and try to solve this General Hospital puzzle. Andre revealed the ornament tidbit to Jason (Steve Burton) at the police station and Jason talked to Anna about it afterward. There didn’t seem to be anyone shady within earshot during those conversations.
That could mean Andre was being monitored before his arrest. It makes sense that someone would be following him and possibly listening in on his chats. The traitor probably knew that Andre wasn’t a genuine villain. He or she simply preyed on Andre’s weakness, which was his ailing wife. Once the twin mayhem hit, the traitor may have known Andre would turn himself in and blab.
Just after Andre’s dilemma arose, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) appeared and Drew (Billy Miller) hired him at Aurora Media. That’s probably not a coincidence. Perhaps Peter is either the traitor himself or a significant member of the traitor’s team. Regardless, there’s a reason Peter showed up right after all the Jason (Steve Burton) drama erupted.
After Andre’s visit to Anna, she may have been monitored as well. Once the ornaments were in a public place, it was the perfect opportunity to make the grab. Jason believes Drew may have seen or heard something important before his memory wipe was performed. If they can get Drew’s memories back, they might be able to identify the traitor and the entire Mastermind team. That’s undoubtedly why the ornament was taken.
Did Peter snatch it to protect himself or maybe the person he’s working for? If so, it’s only a matter of time until Drew learns the truth. Peter has been shady from day one, so his secrets are sure to come out eventually. Once Drew figures out what’s going on, he could be in more danger than ever.
