General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that both Rebecca Budig, who portrays Hayden Barnes/Webber and William deVry who portrays Julian Jerome have finished filming their scenes on the ABC soap opera. Both actors have stated publicly that they are no longer working for General Hospital. We would like to know who you will miss the most out of the two very talented actors?
General Hospital’s Hayden Barnes initially arrived in town, hired by Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) to pretend to be Jake Doe’s (Billy Miller) wife, in an attempt to lure Jake away from his ex-wife, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). Although she came to Port Charles as a con-artist looking for her next big score; Hayden quickly learned that Liz was in fact her half-sister; they really managed to turn their relationship around after they got past their hate for each other. Liz is trying to be the supportive sister to anxious and pregnant Hayden.
Hayden Barnes wormed her way into fans’ hearts much like the way she was able to soften Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) heart. Viewers of the ABC soap opera know Tracy doesn’t care for a lot of people but she became a mother figure for Hayden, who not only was able to get past everything she stole with her father, Raymond Berlin; she actually became someone people adored and was able to redeem herself for many past mistakes.
It will be sad to see her leave as her character has so much potential and so many familial connections; what about her baby and her relationship with Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton)?
General Hospital spoilers reveal William deVry announced his last filming date was June 30; and fans are split on how they feel about his leaving. Julian Jerome is probably one of the most “love-to-hate and hate-to-love” characters in Port Charles. His love for Alexis was deep and intense, there was no denying their chemistry but after he attempted to kill her with the same knife that killed her mother; he lost many of his fans over this, but others still feel he is redeemable.
When it first came out that Derek Wells was in fact, Julian Jerome it was explosive, people didn’t know what to think about the man we presumed died years earlier. He was this tough mobster and adversary of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) but used his grandson, Danny, the son of Jason (Billy Miller) and Samantha Morgan (Kelly Monaco) as a shield to protect him from any mob retribution.
Julian has so many ties to the community including children, Sam Morgan and Dr. Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) and a twisted relationship with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that still needs resolution.
