General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam (Kelly Monaco) will feel like everything’s falling into place. The last few months have been rough, but Sam expects to settle down and enjoy a quiet life with Jason (Billy Miller). She’s hoping all the threats have finally been eliminated, but there’s one she didn’t count on.
Patient Six (Steve Burton) has been fighting as hard as he can to get back to Port Charles. It seems likely that Patient Six will show up claiming to be Jason, so Sam’s about to face chaos once again. She recently mentioned the idea of throwing a welcome home party for Jason. She was fishing for Dr. Bensch’s (James DePaiva) relationship status, so inviting him was a convenient path to that information.
However, General Hospital might actually use something like this as a way to bring Burton’s character back in the mix. If Patient Six spies on the celebration, this could be a crucial part of the plot. The other characters would be welcoming the wrong Jason home!
Of course, Patient Six would have to decide if he was going to barge in or back off. Since GH tends to drag stories like this out, Patient Six might hang in the shadows for a week or two. Then again, he could strut right over and urge this impostor to get out of his life. It all depends on Patient Six’s frame of mind when he renters the picture.
Regardless, this return will send shockwaves through PC sooner or later. General Hospital spoilers say Burton’s character may have several people in his corner. Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) have made it clear that they prefer the old Jason. They’ve been missing that version of their friend lately.
It’s easy to imagine Monica (Leslie Charleson), Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Jake (Hudson West) taking classic Jason’s side as well. Michael (Chad Duell) seemed much closer to Burton’s Jason, so he may have doubts about Miller’s version, too. Naturally, Franco’s (Roger Howarth) twin revelation will create questions, but Burton will probably have quite a story to back up his claims.
After Patient Six shares his harrowing tale, the evidence will likely point in his favor. Nevertheless, Sam may struggle to believe that current Jason isn’t the real deal. Sam obviously feels a strong connection to him. It was almost like Sam’s faith kept current Jason alive after his horrific gunshot wound.
