General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Griffin (Matt Cohen) could have some competition. He decided to walk away from the priesthood, but he’s not sure he knows how to be in an actual relationship. Friendships and hookups are easier than a deep romance, especially when a feisty woman like Ava’s (Maura West) involved.
Ava appreciates the fact that Griffin sees some good in her, but he’s not the only one. Patient Six (Steve Burton) will be forever grateful for Ava’s help. Without her willingness to assist a scary stranger, Patient Six never would’ve been able to escape. He would’ve been transported to who knows where for the next phase of a twisted scheme.
There’s no guarantee Patient Six can get his life back, but Ava has given him the ability to try. Classic Jason hasn’t heard about Ava’s role in Morgan’s (Bryan Craig) death yet, but we’re willing to bet he can get past that. Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) act like Ava blew Morgan up herself. In reality, she just made a huge mistake that resulted in a tragedy.
The med swap was a bad idea, but Ava didn’t set out to kill Morgan. That may make a difference to Patient Six once everything’s out in the open. Besides, classic Jason could find himself too distraught to care all that much. General Hospital spoilers hint that some major heartache is headed Patient Six’s way.
If Sam (Kelly Monaco) decides she just can’t bring herself to leave Billy Miller’s Jason, what will Burton’s Jason do? Many GH fans have notice a spark between Patient Six and Ava. Their scenes are riveting, even when they’re just sitting around talking.
That doesn’t necessarily mean it would translate into romantic chemistry, but it might be worth a shot. General Hospital could at least let Ava and classic Jason test the waters. Things could potentially move forward from there.
Can you imagine Sonny and Carly’s reaction to this romance?! How much fun would that be? Of course, this possible pairing would also cause issues for Griffin. He left his vocation because of Ava, but what happens if she loses interest? Ava could find herself drawn to classic Jason’s inner bad boy instead. Griffin may have to fight for the woman he loves.
