General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) wants Ava (Maura West) dead. However, Patient 6 (Steve Burton) may save her life. Will he feel the same way once he finds out the truth about Ava’s role in Morgan’s (Bryan Craig) death?
Despite Ava trying to do the right thing, nothing can erase her past sins. This includes her role in the death of Sonny and Carly’s (Laura Wright) son, Morgan. Even though she didn’t kill him, it was her actions that caused his death.
Bipolar disorder is a serious condition and Morgan was doing well on his medication. When Ava switched his Lithium with placebos, it depleted the mood stabilizer from his system. It spiraled him into a manic episode, which continued to spin relentlessly, sending him out of control.
While medicated individuals can still cycle through mania and depression, it wouldn’t have gotten to that dangerous point without Ava’s interference. She may not have known it would lead to his death. Her main goal was to keep him away from Kiki (Hayley Erin.)
However, it would have been clear that there would be negative consequences. Her behavior was reckless and criminal, especially with the unpredictability of Bipolar disorder.
It isn’t just about the death, either. It is also about what Morgan was going through prior to his death: the inner turmoil, emotional torment and psychological torture that the illness causes. He was doing so well, and Ava’s actions took all of that away, which ultimately ended his life.
General Hospital spoilers hint that Sonny wants Ava to pay the price, clearly thinking that her burns were in no way repentance. Last week, he put his hand on Ava’s shoulder. It was there a few moments too long and his grip was firm. It was a silent threat as he questioned Ava about her part in what happened to Patient 6.
This time, Ava isn’t responsible. To everyone’s surprise, probably even her own, she saved Steve Burton’s character by facilitating his escape from the clinic – and at great risk to herself. It was the one selfless move in a long line of incredibly selfish and destructive behavior. For her role in his escape, Patient 6 is grateful to Ava.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that he knows Morgan died. Carly also told Patient 6 about the mental health diagnosis. However, she hasn’t had the opportunity to tell him everything. He doesn’t know that Ava switched Morgan’s medication with placebos. Not realizing this, could Steve Burton’s character prevent Sonny from killing Ava? All GH fans know that there is no favor Sonny will not grant SB Jason.
Once SB Jason learns how Ava indirectly caused Morgan’s death Or will he convince Sonny to let her live due to her saving him from the Russian clinic? Even though he might convince Sonny to spare her, don’t expect forgiveness. Sonny could get vengeance in other ways.
