General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) is back for May sweeps and it looks like he’ll be bringing secrets with him. We can’t forget Spencer is a Cassadine above all else, despite the Spencer blood running through his veins, and that means he might know something about the Chimera mystery and his father’s fate.
This is the first time Spencer’s been in Port Charles when he won’t be at his beloved Wyndemere since his evil Uncle Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) now rules the roost on Spoon Island. When Spencer is back very soon, General Hospital spoilers hint he’ll bring some news about his dad Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher). Although there’s no word on a recast, there’s more to the story.
It has been bothersome since Nikolas supposedly died on Cassadine Island that his body was never found despite the fall to solid ground below. That indicates that something is amiss and some General Hospital spoilers suspect this was all part of an elaborate plot to help Nikolas fake his death more convincingly than he did when he staged the scene at Wyndemere to set up Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) last year.
If Nikolas is alive, and General Hospital fans all know he is, it makes sense that Nik would have been in touch with his son to let him know not to mourn his passing. Spencer is good about keeping secrets and already kept Nik’s first faked death secret so keeping another is no big deal. Plus, Spencer is an adept liar thanks to his own secrets and schemes he’s run over the years.
On the Wednesday’s new GH episode, May 10, Spencer sends a package to Jake Webber (Hudson West) which seems strange since they duo isn’t related and haven’t spent a ton of time together. Even more intriguing is that the package has a Chimera marked on it. It’s all very strange and implies that Spencer knows something about the Chimera mystery, though it’s doubtful he knows the deepest darkest aspects.
The real news that Spencer could bring is the fate of his father. If Nikolas is alive and well, as we know he is, it seems very likely that he reached out to Spencer and let him know he’s alive and making plans for them to be together soon. General Hospital spoilers hint that this reveal sets the stage for a recast of Nikolas Cassadine which has been rumored to be in the works for months now.
The old enemy rumored to return for the Nurse’s Ball has now been revealed to be Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) so this should be a real shocker for Spencer who thought his wicked great granny was dead. General Hospital spoilers claim that Spencer’s arrival in Port Charles soon will bring many revelations about the Chimera mystery.
