General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, July 27, tease that Sonny (Maurice Benard) will beg anyone to help him. He’ll cry out from the bottom of the pit as his situation becomes increasingly dire. Someone’s on the way, but he certainly won’t offer any assistance. Garvey (Rick Ravenello) will soon return to make all of this even worse.
GH spoilers state that Garvey will gloat before covering up the pit with a tarp. He’ll feel certain that Sonny will lose consciousness and ultimately die from his injuries. Garvey will believe Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) actions gave him the vengeance he was craving. All that’s left to do it get treatment for his own injuries, but that will require making a bold move.
It looks like Garvey will eventually end up at General Hospital. He’ll take Liz (Rebecca Herbst) hostage, but that plan should have some unanticipated consequences. Meanwhile, Michael (Chad Duell) will decide to have a chat with Carly (Laura Wright). He’ll wonder if everything’s OK with Sonny. Michael probably hasn’t had any luck getting in touch with him either.
Carly will look concerned as she prepares to fill Michael in. It isn’t like Sonny to ignore his phone for this long. Elsewhere, Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) will pass along some news to Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). Is this about Garvey’s escape? This might help Dante figure out the truth about Spencer’s (Nicholas Bechtel) kidnapping, but it could also give him a bad feeling about what’s to come.
Back at GH, Griffin (Matt Cohen) will push Finn (Michael Easton) to tell him what’s going on with Sam. They’ve been looking over test results and Finn thinks he knows what’s causing the symptoms. He’ll believe they’re dealing with toxoplasmosis encephalitis. Finn will point out that Scout could have it as well, so she’ll be summoned to the hospital for testing ASAP.
Things are obviously getting worse for Sam with each passing moment. She’s having a seizure, so Jason (Billy Miller) will continue to cry out for a doctor. Jason will realize that this is even more serious than he thought. General Hospital spoilers say Griffin and Finn will finally rush back in. They’ll stabilize Sam and begin her treatment, but they’ll have to deliver some difficult updates.
Jason will learn all about Sam’s condition and the tough battle she’s facing. He’ll grow fearful when he finds out that Scout could be suffering, too. Jason will insist that they have to do whatever it takes to save his loved ones. Unfortunately, Finn and Griffin will warn that there are no guarantees.
Nearby, Stella (Vernee Watson) will be surprised to hear about Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan’s breakup. She’ll ask when that happened, but Curtis will try to sidestep her questions. He won’t want Stella to feel responsible, but there’s a good chance she’ll sniff out the truth sooner or later.
