General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Tuesday, May 23, tease that all your favorite characters will be walking the red carpet. The Nurses’ Ball is finally underway. Mario Lopez will be on hand to show us all the fashions and fun of this electric event. Excitement will be in the air as the guests strut inside.
Carly (Laura Wright) will decide to put all her Sonny (Maurice Bernard) issues on hold for the night. She’ll join Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) as they get this party started. With Bobbie and Joss by her side, Carly will declare that they’re going to rock this Nurses’ Ball. It’ll be nice to see Carly enjoying herself.
Elsewhere, Griffin (Matt Cohen) will corner Anna (Finola Hughes). He’ll definitely be worried about his good friend. Griffin will ask what’s up with Anna and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). He’ll probably sense that there’s some serious tension between them. Anna needs Valentin’s help to prevent disaster, but it’s going to be tough to win him over.
At the moment, Valentin only has one concern. He’s focused on earning Nina’s (Michelle Stafford) forgiveness so they can put their family back together. Valentin loves Nina and is genuinely sorry for hurting her. He’ll approach his wife and ask what he can do to make things right.
Of course, Nina may not have an answer. She’s not sure there’s really a way for Valentin to repair the damage. Valentin broke Anna’s trust and that’s been difficult for her to get past. Nevertheless, Valentin won’t give up. He’ll come up with a plan to show Nina how much he cares about her.
Other General Hospital spoilers state that Scott (Kin Shriner) will have a bad feeling about Ava’s (Maura West) big idea. She’s hoping to present a large check in Morgan’s (Bryan Craig) name at the Nurses’ Ball. Scott will beg Ava not to do it, but she’ll think he’s overreacting. This is certainly risky since Ava’s actions ultimately led to Morgan’s death.
GH spoilers reveal that Ava will eventually pay the price for her many blunders. In the meantime, Jason (Billy Miller) will still have that nightmare on his mind. He had a horrible dream about Helena (Constance Towers) and he just won’t be able to shake it off.
Jason will fill Sam (Kelly Monaco) in on his uneasiness. She’ll offer reassurance, but Jason may not be convinced that he should let go of his worries. He’ll just feel like something’s wrong. General Hospital fans know Jason is absolutely right about that. Jake (Hudson West) is ready to spark total chaos!
Finally, Michael (Chad Duell) will be perplexed by Sonny’s desire for Morgan’s journal. He’ll try to get to the bottom of Sonny’s request.
