General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that conflict will erupt when Carly (Laura Wright) confronts Sam (Kelly Monaco) about shooting Sonny (Maurice Benard). This will only add to Sam’s guilt, but Sonny will continue to stick up for her. He’ll urge Carly to accept that Sam wasn’t in her right mind.
Jason (Billy Miller) will also hope to get through to Carly. They’ll just want to put an end to this mess. General Hospital spoilers reveal that Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will get involved eventually. She’ll undoubtedly defend Sam and try to make Carly see that they’ve faced similar circumstances.
On August 22, GH spoilers say Carly and Alexis will indeed discover they have something in common. Perhaps Carly will remember some of the crazy things Morgan (Bryan Craig) did when he was off his meds. Since Carly didn’t blame her son for his actions, she shouldn’t blame Sam for hers either.
Alexis and Carly may even find common ground in the love department. They’re both in a “can’t live with ‘em, can’t live without ‘em” situation. Julian (William deVry) has brought great pain to Alexis’ life, but she can’t help how she feels about him. There’s still a lot of love between them.
Unfortunately, Alexis will have to find a way to let go soon. Julian is headed off canvas, which means Alexis will have to start a new chapter. It’s going to be difficult, but she’ll just have to make it work. Alexis will likely decide to use this as a new beginning.
Meanwhile, Sam will also hope to secure a clean slate – or at least a clear conscience. General Hospital spoilers say Sam will make a shocking choice on August 22. Despite Jason’s desperate attempts to stop her, will Sam come clean to the cops? The guilt may be unbearable at that point.
Sam may believe that she needs to turn herself in or else she could make another move she regrets. Of course, it’s doubtful that any charges will stick since Sonny won’t cooperate. Trouble could still be brewing though. General Hospital spoilers hint that Sam will struggle with her mental state in the coming weeks. Her doctors can’t be certain that she won’t fly off the handle again.
Is Sam truly recovering or will she suffer a stunning setback? Does she still pose a serious threat? Since we know Jason will be critically injured down the road, will Sam be partially responsible?
