General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, December 27, tease that Laura (Genie Francis) will have an important discussion with Kevin (Jon Lindstrom). She’ll suddenly realize that they never talked about her last name. Will she take Kevin’s or stick with the one she’s got? Kevin will undoubtedly be happy either way. As long as he has Laura by his side, she can call herself whatever she wants.
At the police station, Lulu (Emme Rylan) will seek updates from Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Jordan (Vinessa Antoine). She’ll hope that Mayor Lomax (Shari Belafonte) will be forced out of office soon. Lulu will keep pursuing the story and give her readers something they can sink their teeth into. Peter (Wes Ramsey) will continue to guide Lulu, but that could lead to complications eventually.
Other General Hospital spoilers state that Griffin (Matt Cohen) and Kiki (Haley Erin) will have a private chat. At least they’ll think it’s private! Ava (Maura West) will actually be listening in on their conversation nearby. Griffin will whisper that Ava can’t know yet. He’ll urge Kiki to keep this under wraps until further notice.
Ava will look suspicious about what they’re hiding, but this is probably good news. GH spoilers say Griffin will have a huge surprise down the road. Maybe he’s found a doctor who can safely eliminate the rest of Ava’s scarring. Griffin wouldn’t want to get Ava’s hopes up until it was a done deal, so that would explain all the secrecy.
Meanwhile, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) will explain Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) situation to Amy (Risa Dorken). She’ll ask for some help, but Amy will be reluctant to get involved. Naturally, Maxie won’t take no for an answer. She’ll insist that Amy owes Nathan and this is how she’s going to repay him.
Amy will take the hair strand Maxie swiped from Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). She’ll get a DNA test is in the works and promise to reveal the results later. Across town, Nathan will rev up the pressure. He’ll push Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) to tell him why she’s being so cagey about his father’s identity.
Nathan may get Dr. O to admit that the medical records were fake. She’ll definitely make a confession of some sort on Wednesday. Unfortunately, Dr. Obrecht will likely stay tight-lipped about Nathan’s dad. At this point, her fears are too strong to come clean about that.
Elsewhere, Finn (Michael Easton) will plant a listening device in Cassandra’s (Jessica Tuck) phone. Anna (Finola Hughes) will monitor their exchange at another location, but she’ll get frustrated when the connection cuts out. She’ll just hope that Finn can handle himself in Cassandra’s suite.
Luckily, General Hospital spoilers say Finn will manage to avert a potential crisis. He’ll convince Cassandra that he’s still on her side. Disaster’s looming for Anna and Finn, but they’ll keep their plot in motion for now. We’ll keep you posted as other GH details emerge.
