General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, May 31, tease that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) should be in bad shape. He has a nasty gunshot wound and will need treatment right away. Nina (Michelle Stafford) will be worried sick for her husband. Their marriage may not be on solid ground, but Nina is still deeply in love with the complicated Cassadine.
Nathan (Ryan Paevey) will try to grill Nina about the part Valentin played in this whole mess, but she may dodge his questions. Nina will want to protect Valentin and she’s more concerned about his condition anyway. His recovery is what’s most important.
Meanwhile, Anna (Finola Hughes) will give Laura (Genie Francis) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) updates on the scary ordeal. They’ll want more info on Valentin’s involvement, but Anna will be hesitant to open up. Since Lulu will soon feel like she’s been deceived, perhaps that means Anna will fib a little.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Ava (Maura West) will fight for her life. She was badly burned in the blaze and there won’t be many too Port Charles residents on her side. Griffin (Matt Cohen) will offer some sympathy eventually, but finding support from anyone else could be difficult.
Of course, Kiki (Hayley Erin) will have to work through plenty of emotions. Once she hears the news of her mother’s injuries, she’ll be completely distraught. The devastation will continue when Kiki finds out why Ava was confronted and caught in the fire.
Kiki will have to face the facts and they aren’t pretty. Ava switched Morgan’s (Bryan Craig) lithium for a placebo and the move ultimately led to his death. Can Kiki ever forgive Ava for doing something so devious? Time will tell, but Kiki will just hope her mom survives for now.
Elsewhere, Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) will bask in the afterglow of their sex session. Curtis will wonder if it was as good for her as it was for him, but police business could get in the way of the rest of their night. Stick with GH to see if there are more romantic evenings ahead for this couple.
At the police station, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) will take statements from Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Bernard). He’ll want them to go on the record and clarify the reason for their visit to the warehouse. Sonny and Carly will spill their story, but they’ll insist that their hands are clean. Ava’s predicament was her own fault.
As Sonny mulls over the perilous events, he’ll battle some regrets about how he’s tackled his problems lately. Sonny will do his best to make things right with Carly in the coming weeks.
