General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dillon Quartermaine’s (Robert Palmer Watkins) exit is still a huge mystery. Since Robert Palmer Watkins was recently let go from the ABC soap opera, we know that his shocking exit is coming soon. He could be kidnapped, murdered, or just go missing. At this point, it could be any of the three.
On Wednesday’s General Hospital, Dillon set up the photo shoot. He took pictures of Nelle (Hayes Benson (Chloe Lanier) wear the expensive sapphire necklace. When Nelle questioned Dillon about the jewelry worth, he revealed it was worth “a small fortune.” Nelle was seen looking at the necklace and appeared to really like it – or anything else for that matter.
The new GH promo revealed that a crime occurs in Morocco. Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) gets a phone call stating that the necklace is missing. On Thursday’s show, Nina advises Nelle that everyone, including her, is suspect. Nelle panics after learning that she could be a suspect and tells Michael Quartermaine (Chads Duel) that they need to go home. It seems to imply that Dillon’s exit from General Hospital is linked to the stolen necklace.
So far, General Hospital has been tight-lipped about Robert Palmer Watkins’ exit. They have not revealed if they would kill him off, which seems pretty unlikely, him being a Quartermaine and all. It is possible they will suggest that he was killed in a plane crash, leaving the door open to recast the role down the road.
General Hospital spoilers indicated that the missing necklace could implicate Nelle as a person of interest in the crime. Michael will reassure Nelle that she has nothing to worry about, but the spoilers hints that Nelle is hiding something big, or at the very least worried about being accused of stealing it. Also, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is present at the shoot. Let’s face it – stealing (or having someone else steal) a necklace seems right up his alley.
As for Robert Palmer Watkins’ exit, General Hospital has not revealed any details. Since they are away at an exotic photo shoot, many fans and bloggers assume that the plane will go down or go missing – or something will go amiss that assures that Dillon doesn’t make it back to Port Charles. Of course this is not 100% true by any means – there is no guarantee that RPW’s final GH scenes occur during the Moroccan trip.
