General Hospital (GH) spoilers show that Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) is starting to sweat the small stuff – as in sweet, small Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), her brand new, at-risk granddaughter!
Laura is a ferocious mama-bear who will do anything to protect the ones she loves. Back in the day she was even willing to ditch hearth and home and go on the run with her white knight husband and two kids in order to protect the family from the likes of scary people like Frank Smith, the Cassadines, et al.
But is Laura willing to kill to keep her family safe? Last week she blurted out to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that something needs to be done about Scarlett’s ominous father Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Anna assured the frantic grandma that she’s got a plan to bring him down, but that wasn’t good enough to Laura’s ears.
The feisty blonde retorted in public for all to hear that she would kill Valentin herself if necessary! Empty promises, you say? Well, Laura has killed before, and the question today is will she snap again and take matters into her own hands before Anna takes Val down?
Back in the day David Hamilton was a suave older man who used a teenage Laura as a way of evening an old score against her parents. The bad guy had no qualms about leading the youngster on, then revealing that his feelings for her were fake.
Long story short, Laura didn’t handle the news that she’d been played well! She lost her cool, and attacked David who couldn’t outfight the teen vixen. With a final push Laura sent the lecher reeling and he fell, incurring a fatal head injury. After a lot of supposition and drama, Laura was found guilty and sentenced to a whopping six months’ probation.
Today Laura has a lot more at stake then teen pride. She and her daughter Lulu (Emme Rylan) fear that Valentin will never be stripped of custody and Charlotte will never be handed over to Lulu. Is Laura already hatching a sinister plan to ensure that Valentin gets pushed out of the picture for good? And if so, does the assertive grandma have what it takes to commit murder?
