Gwen Stefani was photographed leaving church with her children, and the photos suggest that she could be concealing a baby bump underneath her clothes. A body-language expert and source reportedly stated, “Gwen’s body language lately has been of that of someone that is in the early stages of pregnancy. She is walking, differently and holding her body differently, almost covering-up or protecting her belly the exact same way she did last time she was pregnant.”
Previous reports, including one from US Weekly, claimed that one of the reasons for Blake Shelton’s and Miranda Lambert’s separation was because Miranda didn’t want to have children and Blake desperately wanted to have children. But in this situation, Gwen already has three children (with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale) and was probably not averse to having another one – especially with someone she is visibly more fond of and comfortable with than her ex-husband.
Of course, all this speculation is merely based on photos that hint at a baby bump, and we know how unreliable bump watch can be on any given day, especially with celebrities. The wind blowing a certain way, eating a bigger-than-normal lunch, bloat, or any number of other factors could explain the presence of a baby bump, even if the body language expert claims that Gwen’s behavior fits right into the pregnancy theory.
If Gwen Stefani really is pregnant, it might also put to bed all those breakup rumors circulating right now. There are many rumors alleging that Gwen and Blake are on the verge of breaking up after constantly fighting about their future together, so it’s also possible – albeit unlikely – that this baby will serve as a bandage baby, and keep the couple together for longer than they might have stayed together otherwise… that is, if the baby is a baby and not an extra serving of pizza.
