Jennifer Garner is still not ready to date after her divorce from Ben Affleck. According to this week’s PEOPLE cover story, she thinks that Ben Affleck is the love of her life. Jennifer Garner may be “doing okay” after filing from divorce from actor Ben Affleck and having him move out of their home, but she’s not ready to jump into another relationship, according to the tabloid.
An alleged inside source told the magazine that Jennifer Garner is seriously thinking about her future. She’s not ready to date around. She wants to focus on their children instead. Jennifer Garner wants to make sure that her children are fine with the divorce and that their parents will be leading separate lives. Don’t think she’s sulking around though.
The insider claims that Jennifer Garner will date when she’s ready. She’s not particularly excited about being single again. The insider claims that Jennifer Garner still “says Ben Affleck was the love of her life.” She’s just relieved that their troubled marriage is finally over. While she’s not going to shout it from the rooftops, Jennifer Garner is happy about being single and able to move on with her life. She feels “very positive” about the future, adds the source.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck asked for joint custody of their three children, Violet, 11, Samuel, 5, and Seraphina, 8. They have continued to work together as co-parents, according to the sources. Garner even allowed Affleck to live in the guest house at their L.A. home since he and Garner announced their split in June 2015 after 10 years of marriage. The actor has now moved to a home nearby to remain close to his family.
Jennifer Garner now has her career to focus on. She is starring in three upcoming films – Wakefield; The Tribes of Palos Verdes, and Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda. She has even thought about dating yet, says one of the sources. She’s just enjoying this new moment in her life where she can finally combine her passion of acting along with her passion for her family.
This comes after a report that claimed Ben Affleck is “dating” after their split. He’s been dating someone on the downlow. While Jennifer Garner “cares deeply for Ben,” she felt that it was “the right time to end the marriage,” according to New York Magazine.
